I follow a international affairs page on twitter and their posts are somewhat revealing. One thing is that they talk about multiple countries over many continents. One thing is that there are many articles and I believe that is so people can read the articles and not forming opinions off bits and pieces. They talk about people that regulars know the names of like North Koreas leader and people who were alive earlier along in history. I think that they post every hour because they try to keep the people interested and they want to be active on social media. Their research has more to do with history than I planned on using in my research project but it is nice to see different perspectives. They are helpful however because I like the idea of focusing on more than just one country when speaking of International Affairs. They also bring it back to the United States which is a good strategy because bringing the issues domestically is what I am trying to do in my paper as well. The articles are also interesting because there might be multiple view points on certain topics. I am trying to determine what international players have had on United States basketball. I can relate how players from all different continents have had on the NBA. The best players in the world playing in the best league in the world is very intriguing. I am going to try to research from multiple sources that have different opinions which is helpful when writing a research paper. Basketball has been transformed by international players who have brought new aspects to an ever changing sport. International Affairs is very important in all aspects of the world because there are always things affecting us that don't have to do with the USA.
