My favorite song would have to be Walking On Sunshine by Katrina and The Waves. I believe that the purpose of this song is to try to persuade people to be happy, it also informs them what it would feel like to walk on sunshine. The audience is everybody that is having a bad day and needs to cheer up. I think this song is perfectly directed at their normal audience. This song uses Pathos perfectly in my opinion. The whole goal is to appeal to your emotions and try to change them which the song does almost perfectly. The mood that the song is trying to provoke is joy and happiness throughout the day. I believe the lyrics do match up to the song because they are positive. The background music also is very important because it is very upbeat and happy which also helps portray the message. The genre of music is in my opinion a mixture of Pop and Soul music.
