That Genre ENC 2135

Genre is seen as a category of a certain thing such as music or film. According to the first article it has to do with a category of a composition. As seen in the second article all composition have a purpose which is sometimes enhanced by rhetoric. So to me genre using all of these articles genre is the way of making all parts of the composition flow together. In navigating genres is gives a really good example of breaking down the music to understand the genre more. When we break down a certain composition we are more able to figure out the genre through things such as language. The last genre I wrote about in school was persuasive about pop culture. We were asked to compare how pop culture influences writing and authors now. The composition took a while because we had to each reference different figures in pop culture ad then persuade why the figures were so influential. The hard thing is that pop culture is very controversial and therefore you have to be careful when writing. The persuasion always comes down to taste because people respect different things. I got a good grade on the paper because my persuasion was ver effective.
